The question we most often get asked is, "Why do you call the ministry New Foundations?" When the Lord spoke this ministry into existence in 1988 he said to call it New Foundations, my response was what Paul wrote to the Corinthians:
"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." I Corinthians 3:11
It was then the Lord said, "Every Spiritual truth I reveal is the foundation for the next Spiritual truth I will reveal". As the Lord began to speak, I began to write, revealing the Spiritual truths as they were revealed to me. These Spiritual truths have not been received by many. They are not written to tickle the ear. These truths are revealed so God's people will repent and change their lives, their thinking, and their walk.
Seven times in the book of Revelation the Word states: "Hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches". This is a commandment from the lips of Jesus. If we are to walk into His New Day, then we must not only hear what the Spirit is speaking, we must become obedient to His voice.
We have also been told we are against the church system. We are not against the church, but we are against warmed over, watered down messages designed to maintain attendance instead of changing lives. The Lord's voice is loud and clear today to those who have ears to hear, just as it was when He walked the earth and warned the religious system to repent and turn from their religious ways. As we view the church system we know the Pharisees, Sadducees, Zealots, and Herodians still exist. They are simply called by other names.
What then is our job at New Foundations. As the Lord spoke, "It is not our job to change the religious system's wrong teachings. It is our job to bring them out of the darkness of these wrong teachings so they can build on God's Spiritual truths as revealed through the Holy Spirit."
God is speaking. We need to ask ourselves, "Are we hearing?" As Jesus spoke to the multitudes:
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
If we are to enter into His rest, we must come to Him with our whole heart, soul ,and spirit. The Spirit is speaking unto His church. We are only a voice of one crying in the wilderness of the religious confusion in the earth today. We will be heard by a few who are seeking God with their whole heart. God's little flock, the remnant will receive the Kingdom from the hand of the Father. Praise the Lord!
