Will You Walk in the Light of the Glorious Gospel?

We live in the day when all who have eyes to see and ears to hear know assuredly that God's judgement is close at hand. And yet we see the world becoming more vile, more corrupt, and more anti-christ everyday. Unfortunately we see those who are called by God's name becoming more and more like the world. The Bible is full of warnings to those who live in this last hour of time. God knew the end from the beginning. He knew not only the condition the world would be in, He also knew the lukewarmness of His people. God spoke through the pen of Isaiah:

"Behold, all ye that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that ye have kindled. This shall ye have of Mine hand; ye shall lie down in sorrow." Isaiah 50:11

God's people are walking in the light of the fire they have kindled. They have chosen to live their lives in their own understanding, instead of going to the Word to seek God's direction for their lives. They obey religious doctrines. They listen to the watered down messages from the big name television stars. They are tossed to and fro by every new idea that comes along. And as Isaiah proclaimed, "Ye shall lay down in sorrow". Isaiah revealed the condition of God's people in this last hour of time:

"Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still." Isaiah 9:17

God's hand is stretched out to all those who are seeking His ways. All we need to do is to take hold of His hand and walk the way He would have us walk. Those who choose to walk in their own light will lay down in sorrow. Those who walk in the light of the glorious gospel of truth will reside in God's presence.
