The Winter of Time

We rejoice in our day as we see Autumn approaching and all God's creation preparing for the coming winter. The bears are preparing their winter dens and putting on their winter fat to survive the cold days ahead. The squirrels are gathering their nuts and winter food. The birds are flying south to their winter homes in God's protected areas for them.

As we relate this time to the day we live in, it is easy to see that the winter (the time of God's judgment in the earth) is fast approaching. We are truly in the Autumn of the age. Yet many Christians are going their own merry way, taking no thought, nor preparing their Spiriual house for the days ahead. As Isaiah wrote,

"Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:" *** Isaiah 28:15

Those who look for no judgment have hidden themselves under falsehoods (false teachings) and lies. They are in agreement with death and hell. These who have been lulled asleep need to awake and arise from their dust existence and learn from God's creation to prepare their lives for the days ahead.

The wind of the Spirit is beginning to blow over God's ripening grain. The Harvest Time is at hand and the sickle is about to be thrustinto the harvest to bring those who have come into full maturity into His prepared place.

As we become more aware of what the Spirit is saying unto the church we realize that we must be separated from all that does not have the anointing of God upon it. We are to be totally separated unto Him. We serve a jealous God. Anything that takes His place in our lives has become our God.

God is calling us to come up higher and become part of His Harvest Team in the earth, while it is yet day, because the night in which no man can work is directly ahead of us. We need to busy ourselves while it is yet day.
