A Poem of Prophesy
as given to Beverly Epling for the body of Christ, February 1, 1997
Know I am the God of love, yet I am a consuming fire
I find pleasure in the truth, but I hate the sin of a liar.
I am a Holy God who fights for my people each and everyday
For I am that I am, the truth, the life, and the way.
My people are rebellious, and yet my love remains
They are driven by the works of flesh so my power they do not attain.
In the midnight hours I call out gently to you
To give you my direction, and to show you what to do.
But when morning comes a callin', back to the world you go
Where do I fit into your life, so My glory it will show?
The days and hours are numbered, the clock is moving fast
The things that I need for you to accomplish My children, are vast
Play day is over, down to the Father's business it must be
You must walk in My Spirit if My will you want to see.
Please, My children, come up hither, and listen to My voice
What is your decision? What have you made your choice?
I'm calling all My pastors, teachers, and evangelists
To My prophets and apostles,
For the perfecting of my people who are true.
So you must heed the warnings, and get the sin out of your way.
Come back to your first love and walk in Holiness way.
Quote: In a dream I saw one of my daughters. She came to me scared because her fingers were shriveling up to where there was nothing left but skin and bone. I didn't know what to do to help her. Later she came back and all that was left of her fingers was thin, crumbling flesh, and where the bones were supposed to be was as the appearance of powder.
The Lord showed me this dream was representing the immature church, and that she was having this problem because she was only in the easy parts of the Word. She desired only the milk of the word, and refused the life giving protein of the meat of the Word. Because of this her hands of service were fast wearing away to dust and decaying flesh. From J. Kirkpatrick
The Milk Realm or the Meat Realm
"For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat."
For everyone that useth milk is unskilful in the Word of righteousness: for he is a babe." *** Hebrews 5:12-13
Those who remain in the Milk Realm need to continually be taught the first principles of the oracles of God. The word oracle means "a brief message or statement". Those in the Milk Realm are continually taught the first principles of the salvation message Sunday after Sunday. The message is brief and contains no strong meat because the people cannot or will not receive it. Paul wrote to Timothy of those who are...
"...ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." *** II Timothy 3:7
Truth is the Spirit of Truth that came on the Day of Pentecost to cleanse God's people from all unrighteousness. Those who remain in the Milk Realm never come to the Spiritual revelation revealed in God's Holy Word. The writer of Hebrews begins with,
"Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrines of Christ, let us go on into perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment." Hebrews 6:1-2
The word principle means "the beginning, or elementary teachings of Christ". The writer of Hebrews admonishes us to go on into perfection, or maturity, or completeness. In other words, he means to grow up.
Then he lists these elementary teachings. The first elementary teaching we are to leave behind is: "repentance from dead works" Our dead works were the works we did in the flesh, and still do in the flesh. These become the pride of life. These dead works accomplished in the flesh are all many can talk about because they have accomplished nothing in Christ.
The second elementary teaching we are to leave behind is, "...faith toward Christ..." This is not the faith we operate our lives by. This is the faith we confess with our mouth that is not displayed in our life. Many are taught verbal confessions is faith. Faith is only active in our life when we act upon what the Word of God proclaims.
The third elementary teaching we are to leaven behind is: "...doctrines of baptisms..." The old-line denomination system teaches water baptism on a regular basis. The Pentecostal teach the baptism of the Holy Spirit regularly.
Are these necessary? Absolutely! These must be in each life, but after these elementary principles are received the people need to be taught what comes afterwards to grow them up into maturity.
The fourth elementary principle to leave behind is: "...the laying on of hands..." The most common practices in the church should be praying for healing, ministering gifts, and raising up leadership. These should be practiced not taught. People do not have to be taught what they see in action. Laying on of hands should be one of the most common things in the church. Unfortunately in many churches, this ministry has been forgotten.
The fifth elementary principle to leave behind is: "...resurrection of the dead..." Jesus' resurrection is all that is talked about in many churches, especially around Easter. Jesus' resurrection is part of history. Is His resurrection important? It is one of the most important tenants of our faith. Again, Jesus' resurrection is a fact, and does not need to be taught on a regular basis.
The sixth elementary principle we must leave behind is: "...eternal judgment..." This is the teaching of hell, where mankind is punished for all eternity for the mistakes they made in their 70 plus or minus years spent on earth. Hell is not to be taught as a scare tactic. You cannot scare people to serve God. They must be led by the truth to overcome, have a change of mind, and serve God from a loving heart.
Paul admonished those who are still teaching these elementary messages to teach the people to grow up, to go on into the Lord, to be perfected, to come to maturity. To accomplish this we must allow Christ to do His complete work in our lives. Unfortunately, these six messages are still the main messages in old line churches, and in most of the Pentecostal churches. In the next verse Paul relates,
"And this will we do if God permit" Hebrews 6:3
The word permit means "to grant licence, or to give liberty to". When we choose to go on into perfection, or to lead others into perfection, then we will lay aside the elementary things, and strive for mastery. Peter gave us insight that as babies we are to desire the sincere milk of the Word that we may grow thereby. God never intended us to remain babies, but grow up into the head which is Christ. We are to strive to become Christlike and walk in the Spirit.

I was lost but know I'm found
I was blind but now I can see
I have lost everyone and every thing in my life
I have prayed about having someone write me
To you, whoever it may concern. A new Christ friend!
You have been hurt in some of the same ways.
We need each other. Please write.
