LET US CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER TO PROVOKE
UNTO LOVE AND TO GOOD WORKS. Hebrews 10:24

The word "provoke" means "to anger someone". In God's Word the word provoke is used with this meaning 81 times. Many ungodly men provoked God to anger. The above scripture is the only one in which the word "provoke" has a positive and good meaning. The word provoke in the above scripture means "to motivate and encourage to love and good works."

By diligently searching and studying the following men's lives from the Old Testament you will discover mighty, valiant men who became Godly Provokers. Read one set of the following scriptures each day to discover God's encouragers:

1 - Read Numbers 14:6-9 & 24 Verse 9 tells us that ______________ and _______ provokes God's anger. But two men, ___________ and __________ encouraged Israel to love and to good works. How did they become Godly Provokers? (v 24)

Bible Study Number 2: With the help of your parent, pastor or teacher read one set of the following scriptures each day. Discover who were Godly Provokers. After reading , discuss each set of verses with your group, everyone sharing how these sets of scriptures encourage others to love and good works. List everyone's answers.
