The Young Men and Women of the 42nd Generation

You can become one of God's young men and women of the 42nd Generation, (see This is For YOUth, last issue, "The 42nd Generation"). You ask, "How can I do this?" God lays out His perfect plan and purpose for your life through His Holy Word.

". . . I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one. I John 2:14

This plan is two fold: Become strong and overcome the wicked one.

How? There is only one way and that is by having God's Word abiding in your life.

Young men and women, be encouraged in the Lord. Your stand for the Lord Jesus Christ is what is going to be the saving of the world.

The prophet Amos tells of the backward sliding of our society, but you, as Godly young men and women, need to hold strong to what you have been taught in God's Word.

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst." Amos 8:11 - 13

Young men and women, you do not need to be swept away in this sea. By becoming strong in God's Word you can withstand the coming events upon this earth.

There was a Spirit filled young man in God's Word. His name was Elihu. Through Elihu's faithfulness to God's Word, he was able to give wise counsel to Job, something that Job's three friends could not do. You, too, can become a 42nd generation Elihu. You, too, can become Spirit filled young men and women who hear from the Lord and His Word and become the salvation for the next generation.   by Jeannie Kirkpatrick

Love Means More to Me

"Child, do you love me?"
"Yes Lord, I do."

"Child, do you love me?"
"Of course Lord."

"Child, do you love me?"
"Yes Lord, why?"

"Feed My sheep."

What do you mean, Lord?

"Be quiet and I will tell you"

"Ok, I'm listening"

"Teach them of My love
Teach them of Me
Teach them what they cannot learn
By Word and prophecy

Show them what they're missing
Teach them to need Me
Be an example
In actions and deed."

"Child, do you love me?"
"Yes Lord, I do."
"Child, will you help me?"
"Yes Lord, I will!"
"Child will you obey?"
Yes Lord, for sure."

"Feed My sheep."
